Description

This patch, very close to the Liesbeek River, is being worked on by a team of pupils from Bishop's. After removing the invasive grasses, a variety of plants have been added in order to make this into an indigenous patch. Work is ongoing, but a number of large indigenous plants have taken root and have strongly grown. The one side of the patch is hindered by large trees that create a lot of shade, which limits plant growth. Hopefully it is possible to trim these trees back which will help a lot.
