Growth features

Easy to grow Easy to grow

A ground creeping succulent with a bright yellow or white flower (?) found in full sun in acid sandy soils in the flats.

For visual appeal, plant en masse with L. multiradiatus, L. hoerleinianus and L. aureus as well as Lampranthus affinis. Suitable for slopes and rock gardens.

Propagation by seed

Grow from seeds in winter or summer.

Propagation by cutting

Take cuttings after fruiting. Add bonemeal or compost to ensure health. Cuttings and runners can be rooted in situ at any time of the year. However it is always best in autumn, which is at the beginning of its growing season. Establishment of any plant is crucial and after the cuttings have been planted water thoroughly, as once established it is self-sustaining.
