A slender perennial, 15-50cm, with a tuber and a few, thread-like leaves that are dry at flowering; bears a loose raceme of fragrant yellow flowers; the fruits are globular and carried upright.
Endemic to South Africa and part of the Aloe Family.
Bulbine Favosa is found on sandy and limestone flats and slopes in the southwestern Cape.
